THROW IN: Great crowd in Parnell Park and we’re underway.

Kilkenny 0-1 Dublin 0-0: 1 mins — John Power gets the game’s opening score from play. Dublin playing with the breeze at their backs in this first half.

Dublin 0-8 Kilkenny 1-3: 17 mins – Eoin Larkin points a free but Dublin bite back immediately and Joey Boland points from play.

Ooof! Larkin’s 65 gets caught in the breeze and drops back down off the post. It falls to John Power who forces Gary Maguire to save with his stick.

Dublin 1-14 Kilkenny 1-6: 31 mins — GOAL FOR DUBLIN! It’s a disaster for David Herity as he spills Danny Sutcliffe’s shot as it drops under the bar and into the net. Dotsy O’Callaghan tacks on the next score and Dublin are motoring.

Doesn’t look good for John Power who has pulled up holding his left hamstring. He’s been one of Kilkenny’s better players tonight but he’ll have to go off.

Dublin 1-16 Kilkenny 1-6: 35 mins – Danny Sutcliffe takes his individual tally to 1-2 on the stroke of half-time… no wait, it’s 1-3 as he quickly tacks on another.

HALF TIME: Dublin 1-16 Kilkenny 1-6

To be a fly on the wall of that Kilkenny dressing room at the break. They’ve been clear second best to Dublin in these last 15 minutes and trail by 10.

Here are the scorers in that first half:

Scorers for Dublin: Danny Sutcliffe 1-4; Joey Boland, Conal Keaney (1f), Alan McCrabbe all 0-3 (1f, 1 65, 1 sideline); Colm Cronin, David O’Callaghan, Johnny McCaffrey all 0-1.

Scorers for Kilkenny: John Power 1-1; Eoin Larkin 0-3 (2fs, 1 65); Walter Walsh 0-1.

SECOND HALF: Bit of mind games from Dublin who hang on for an extra three or four minutes in the dressing room and leave Kilkenny waiting.

Two changes as TJ Reid on for the injured John Power and Padraig Walsh comes on for big brother Tommy.

Dublin 1-16 Kilkenny 2-6: 37 mins — GOAL FOR KILKENNY! What a start for the Cats. Peter Kelly leaves his full back spot to venture upfield on a run and when play breaks back down towards the Dublin goal, Cillian Buckley is able to find Colin Fennelly who scores.

PENALTY FOR KILKENNY! Jack Dougan is only on the pitch mere moments for Niall Corcoran and he’s penalised for a tangle in the box. Great chance now for Kilkenny…

Dublin 1-16 Kilkenny 3-6: 42 mins — GOAL FOR KILKENNY! Did somebody say comeback? TJ Reid fires an unstoppable penalty past Gary Maguire and the Dublin defenders.

Dublin 1-16 Kilkenny 3-7: 43 mins – Just three between the sides now as Jonjo Farrell points. Remarkable start by Kilkenny.

SUBSTITUTION: The King has entered the building. Henry Shefflin on for Aidan Fogarty.

Dublin 1-17 Kilkenny 3-7: 47 mins – It has taken 12 minutes but Dublin finally have a score in this second half. McCrabbe points a free.

Looooooong free from Joey Boland but it gets caught up in the breeze and drops into Herity’s hands.

Dublin 1-18 Kilkenny 3-7: 51 mins – Ooooh. There’s a tug on Colm Cronin’s jersey as he tries to burst through on goal and McCrabbe takes his chance with the free, blasting it at goal. It’s tipped over the bar.

Dublin 1-18 Kilkenny 3-8: 52 mins – Fine score by Cillian Buckley to cut the deficit to four.

Dublin 1-18 Kilkenny 3-9: 53 mins – Richie Hogan has his first point of the evening, a perfectly-struck long free.

Dublin 1-20 Kilkenny 3-10: 62 mins – Great ball out by Liam Rushe and Alan McCrabbe knocks over his first point from play.

Late challenge by Henry Shefflin who catches Joey Boland across the front of his face with his hurl. He’s booked.

Dublin 1-12 Kilkenny 3-10: 65 mins – Mark Schutte points and Dublin now lead by five. Kilkenny will need a goal.

Dublin 1-22 Kilkenny 3-10: 67 mins – Ryan O’Dwyer tries his luck from distance and despite David Herity’s best efforts, it drops over the bar.

Dublin 1-22 Kilkenny 3-11: 67 mins – Richie Power points. Kilkenny aren’t done yet…

Dublin 1-22 Kilkenny 3-12: 68 mins – Padraig Walsh gets another for the Cats. Four point game…

There’ll be two more minutes after the 70.

Dublin 1-22 Kilkenny 3-13: 70+1 mins – Another for Padraig Walsh. A goal would level it now…

Late chance for Kilkenny but Colin Fennelly is penalised and that could be that.

FULL TIME: Dublin 1-22 Kilkenny 3-13

It’s all over! The Dubs hold on for a three-point win and join the Cats on four points heading into the final round of Division 1A games next week.

Danny Sutcliffe is the man of the match and well-deserved too after finishing with 1-5.

Scorers for Dublin: Danny Sutcliffe 1-5, Alan McCrabbe 0-6 (3fs, 1 65, 1 sideline), Joey Boland, Conal Keaney (1f) both 0-3; Colm Cronin, David O’Callaghan, Johnny McCaffrey, Mark Schutte, Ryan O’Dwyer all 0-1.
