DUBLIN MANAGER GER Cunningham has named a new-look line-up for his sideโs Allianz Hurling League opener against Tipperary this evening.
With several experienced members of the panel unavailable through injury, Cunninghamโs hand has been forced for the Division 1A clash at Semple Stadium.
Long-term absentees Paul Schutte, Ryan OโDwyer, Peter Kelly and Niall Corcoran are all unavailable while Liam Rushe is suspended and Shane Durkin is instead togging out for Ballyboden St Endaโs in their All-Ireland club semi-final.
It means Eoghan OโDonnell will start at right half-back in a youthful line alongside Chris Crummey and Shane Barrett.
Paul Ryan, Eamonn Dillon and Cualaโs David Treacy will hope to continue their impressive early season form.
The action gets underway in Thurles at 7pm.

When did the dubs learn how to swing a hurl? #WestBrits
Do the brits play much Gaelic football? #ignorantdope
Very original! Did you come up with that all by yourself? Oh and save the hashtags for Twitter.
Jesus, a Carlow man taking a swing at Dublin hurling. Rough stuff.
If only Carlow could follow suit and learn to swing a hurl too maybe theyโd win a National League Division 1 title or a Leinster final like the Dubs have in the last 5 years.
