Dublin have fresh injury worries ahead of their All-Ireland quarter-final

The Dubs face Tipperary in Semple Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

PAUL SCHUTTE HAS emerged as a doubt for Dublin’s All-Ireland SHC quarter-final against Tipperary.

Schutte has suffered a recurrence of a back injury and the Cuala defender is now “a major concern” for Sunday’s trip to Semple Stadium (4pm).

The news will come as a further headache to Dubs boss Anthony Daly who is also expected to be without Niall McMorrow (knee) and goalkeeper Gary Maguire.

Maguire missed the games against Wexford and Kilkenny with a fractured thumb and is still making his way back to full fitness, with Alan Nolan likely to continue between the sticks.

In better news for the Dubs, Mark Schutte is in contention to play some part on Sunday.

The younger Schutte brother dislocated his shoulder in the Leinster SHC semi-final against Wexford but is reported to be recovering well.
