DUBLIN CLINCHED THEIR league semi-final spot yesterday with a victory over Tyrone and a triple goal blast in the opening quarter set them on the road to success.

After 18 seconds James McCarthy found the net, after 67 seconds Jason Whelan found the net and then in the 16th minute Michael Darragh MacAuley found the net.

But the most crucial score of the game came from Diarmuid Connolly in injury-time when his brilliant point booked Dublin’s league semi-final place.
