The squad trained at Gannon Park in Malahide on Sunday and were joined by Ipswich Town defender Damien Delaney.
An FAI statement on Sunday evening read:
Kevin Doyle is suffering from an infected bruise (Haematoma) and will not report for duty with the squad due to the risk of deep vein thrombosis associated with air travel.
Marc Wilson has withdrawn from the squad due to pro-dromal symptoms of a viral infection. Damien Delaney has been called up as his replacement, and joined up with the squad this afternoon.
The statement continued, “Following on from Wes Hoolahan’s withdrawal from the squad on Friday, Norwich City were contacted about the availability of Anthony Pilkington.
“However, Pilkington sustained a hamstring injury and came off after 65 minutes in a pre-season friendly yesterday and is not fit to report.
“Stephen Ward and Keith Treacy are currently being assessed with the team doctor to determine whether they are fit to travel. A decision will be made (on Monday).”
