You're minding your own business, jumping a fence, when BAM!

That’s got to hurt.

IT’S NOT UNUSUAL to see a horse fall during a national hunt race but this collision at Downpatrick could well end up in a future edition of ‘What Happened Next?’

The runners and riders were approaching the eighth fence in the 4.15 when one of the backmarkers, Galboystown Lady, missed his step and ran straight into the obstacle.

While the horse stayed on one side of the fence, he pitched jockey Johnny King into the air — and King careered across, clattering Shane Crimin and knocking him clean from his saddle as well.

Thankfully, IrishRacing.com report that the jockeys and horses were all ok.
