BORUSSIA DORTMUND FANS have become accustomed to success since the arrival of Jurgen Klopp in 2008.

Having challenged for honours in Klopp’s first two seasons with the club, they won back-to-back Bundesliga titles in 2011 and 2012 and finished runners up in the Champions League in 2013.

However, this season has not been so good with Dortmund propping up the table on 11 points having lost eight of their 13 games so far. Perennial rivals Bayern Munich, on the other hand, sit atop the Bundesliga on 33 points.

To apologise for their short-comings in 2014 and to thank their loyal fans, the players went behind the bar at their Christmas party to pull pints for the 1,000 or so supporters who turned up.

Goalkeeper Roman Weidenfeller, alongside the likes of Mats Hummels and Marco Reus, also signed autographs for fans.
