Don't you worry, we'll attack at Old Trafford, warns Moyes

After last week’s disappointing 2-1 FA Cup semi-final defeat to local rivals Liverpool, Moyes has challenged his players to pick themselves up again.

EVERTON MANAGER David Moyes believes focusing on a draw against Manchester United is foolish and has vowed to attack the league leaders.

United have won 14 of their 17 home matches this season, scoring 46 goals in the process, and Moyes believes a defensive mentality at Old Trafford will only lead to defeat in Sunday’s Premier League encounter.

“It’s very difficult to hang on and try and get yourself a draw or a tight victory,” Moyes said. ”I can’t see how you do that. You go there to win.

“If it gets tight, if you get a good draw, then you accept that sometimes, going to Old Trafford but you can’t go there trying to (hold on).”

After last week’s disappointing 2-1 FA Cup semi-final defeat to local rivals Liverpool, Moyes has challenged his players to pick themselves up and continue their terrific form in the Premier League. Everton have lost just two of their last 13 league games.

“We’ve been training, we’ve been back at it, we’ve got to keep going,” the Everton manager said. ”Certainly the players and myself, we’re going to try and do the best we can to finish as high up as the league as we can.”
