Donncha O’Callaghan cited for alleged 'kick to the head' against Ulster

The incident happened during Munster’s narrow Pro12 win on Friday.

MUNSTER STAND-IN captain Donncha O’Callaghan has been cited for allegedly kicking an opponent in the head during Munster’s narrow Guinness Pro12 victory over Ulster on Friday evening.

The second row – who saw his side record a one point win over their provincial rivals – will face an independent disciplinary committee later this week after the citing commissioner Eddie Walsh flagged an incident early in the second half.

O’Callaghan caught Ulster’s Stuart Olding with his boot in the 41st minute which resulted in the fullback having to undergo a Head Injury Assessment.
