Paddy Hannigan scored a goal in either half to steer Ray Durack’s side to a 14-point win in Kingspan Breffni Park.
Hannigan’s first helped Donegal to a 1-7 to 0-6 lead at the break, although they were dealt a setback when Jamsie Donnelly was sent off as the first half came to a close.
Fingal couldn’t make use of the spare man though and managed just two points in the second half, while Kevin Campbell’s free kept the scoreboard ticking over at the other end.

Hannigan’s second made Donegal’s lead safe and the Division 3A champions can look forward to life in 2B next season.
