Did Donal O'Grady deserve to be sent off for this trip on Richie Power?

The Limerick captain was guilty of a professional foul late on in today’s All-Ireland semi-final.

WITH THREE MINUTES remaining in this afternoon’s All-Ireland SHC semi-final at Croke Park, Kilkenny’s Richie Power was cynically brought down by a professional foul from Limerick captain Donal O’Grady.

Referee James McGrath awarded a free to the Cats (despite the fact that RTÉ co-commentator Michael Duignan was adamant it was a penalty) but O’Grady, already on a yellow card, wasn’t shown another card for the ankle tap.

Kilkenny went on to win 2-13 to 0-17 and book a place with either Cork and Tipperary in the final.

What did you make of the decision?
