DING JUNHUI HAS added to the air of ill-will at the Crucible, slamming his treatment at the hands of fans at the World Snooker Championship.
The 25-year-old became the seventh seed to exit the tournament, in just 12 completed matches, when he lost 10-9 to Ryan Day on Wednesday.

“I don’t think the tables were right, I don’t think the fans were right. It was all rubbish,” said the 25-year-old. ”They just kept shouting. People say Chinese fans are no good, but I’m here and what do they do?”
Ding was then asked if he thought the crowd was fair.
The world number ten’s outburst came after two-time champion Mark Williams criticised the Crucible and suggested the tournament should be moved to China, while Mark Allen faces disciplinary action after accusing Cao Yupeng and other Chinese players of cheating.

“No,” came his response.
Ding had been 6-4 behind at one stage before reeling off five frames in a row. However, world number 35 Day won the next three to set up a decider, which he won after Ding missed a red with the rest.
