FORMER MANCHESTER UNITED and Tottenham striker Dimitar Berbatov has joined Kerala Blasters of the Indian Super League.
The ex-Bulgarian international will link up with his former United team-mate Wes Brown at the team in southern India.
Another Old Trafford veteran, former assistant coach Rene Meulensteen, is Keralaโs new boss, while Berbatovโs old Spurs strike partner Robbie Keane recently joined Atletico de Kolkata.
The 36-year-old, who also starred for Monaco, Bayer Leverkusen and Fulham, had been without a club since leaving PAOK Thessaloniki a year ago.
The ISL, which will be in its fourth season, will grow to 10 teams this year.

Newcastle Utd are a mess right now. Is the club being sold or not, is Rafaโs heart still in the job and is his job safe? The players donโt seem to care, turning up for their paycheck only. My outside tip to be relegated again. Thoughts?
@Whatshisname: My only thought is that this is the first comment Iโve seen from you, where you havenโt been mindlessly trolling Liverpool/United fans. Youโve obviously turned over a new leaf and I just wanted to offer my congratulations.
@Coner Willis: An Arsenal fan mindlessly trolling Liverpool/Utd fans really is a sight to beholdโฆ.
You sell Daryl Murphy & see what happensโฆ
Doomed a wee club in the north eastโฆโฆ
