THE RUMOURS GOING round Argentina’s National Theatre after Diego Maradona’s car had cleared was that the journalist getting slapped in the above image had made some sort of gesture (possibly a wink) at El Diego’s girlfriend, Veronica Ojeda.
According to El Comercio, this is what he said as he squared up to his dictaphone-wielding rival:
