Didier Drogba nearly decapitated by Porto 'keeper, doesn't win free

We’ve seen the Ivory Coast striker stay down under much lighter challenges.

WE MISSED THIS during yesterday’s Emirates Cup clash between Porto and Galatasaray but it’s worth revisiting because it contains one of the worst fouls you’ll ever see not to result in a free kick.

With shades of Harald Schumacher’s near decapitation of Battiston back in 1982, Porto’s Brazilian shot stopper Fabiano launched himself wildly at Drogba and surely expected to see at least a yellow as a result.

The referee though, saw nothing wrong with the challenge.
