Dick Clerkin leads the Monaghan party with a belting rendition of You'll Never Walk Alone

“Walk on, waaaaaalk on, with hope in your hearts…”

MONAGHAN DIDN’T HAVE far to go for their Ulster championship ‘homecoming’ but that didn’t dampen the celebrations.

The Farney men clinched their second provincial crown in three seasons when they beat Donegal on home turf in Clones.

It fell to veteran midfielder Dick Clerkin to lead the party afterwards and he didn’t disappoint.

He took the mic and led his team-mates — and a sizeable chunk of the crowd, by the sounds of things — in a full-throated rendition of You’ll Never Walk Alone.
