SICK OF THE current Old Trafford faithful’s chant for Manchester United’s new number seven, this Cork-based fan took to Twitter to do the Argentine’s class some justice.
Shortly after tweeting the rendition, Seán O’Sullivan from Douglas was shocked at the overwhelming reaction which included the seal of approval from the club’s official Facebook page.
The old chant of ”Angel Di Maria” to the tune of “Let’s All Do The Conga” was according to the lifelong united fan “proper League 2 stuff”.
So instead he fancied adding a bit of ABBA to the mix, he’ll have to wait until kick-off today to see how well it catches on – although the almost 300,000 Facebook likes so far would suggest he’s very much onto something;

Sean, whose United orientated Twitter page has over 18,000 followers will be listening closely as Chelsea take on the Red Devils later today in the first home game since his tune went viral.
He’s confident that the club’s new star attacker will finally get the chant his class deserves.
“It wasn’t like a competition or anything, the only reason I did it was because there was another one being used and it was terrible, and I seen other people on my timeline giving out about it.
“So I just knocked it up in about 20 seconds, just thinking it was nothing serious, and I didn’t expect it to take off like it did.
“I was in bed when I put it up and my phone was across the room and it just started exploding, with both people I know and people on Twitter saying it to me, it was crazy.”
*to the tune of Mamma Mia*
DI MARIA, HERE HE GOES AGAIN, ANGEL, HOW CAN HE ASSIST YOU
After a mini social media break last year, nothing to do with the club’s disappointing run of form he says, Sean has recently returned to his Twitter page regularly adding to his almost 17,000 tweets to date – albeit none near as influential as the above.
ABBA mightn’t be Roy Keane’s cup of tea, but if Di Maria can influence a positive result for United today the Stretford End will be rocking to it!
“I’ve no idea how they seen it,” he told TheScore.ie. “I didn’t tweet it to them or tag them in it or anything, obviously someone working there seen it and just went for it.
“We’ll have an idea after Sunday how it goes long term.”
