FOR THE FIRST time in almost 18 months, Derrick Rose laced up his sneakers and stepped out into the United Centre.

With the new NBA season just around the corner, the Chicago Bulls star last night made his first home appearance since tearing his ACL in April 2012.

Rose finished with 22 points in the Bulls’ pre-season win against the Detroit Pistons, but it was this crossover dribble on Peyton Siva that will have fans most excited.

Welcome back, Derrick.
