DEONTAY WILDER SERVED up a frightening finish as he extended his unbeaten record with a first-round stoppage against Siarhei Liakhovich on Friday night.
It took the young American heavyweight less than two minutes to floor his Belarussian opponent and make it 29 knockouts from 29 fights.
Wilder’s power punches left Liakhovich in some trouble and there were worrying scenes as he went into convulsions on the mat before he was quickly tended to by the referee and medical professionals.
“Liakhovich has never been ko’d lesser then [sic] 9 rounds,” Wilder, 27, tweeted afterwards. “I did it in 1. I’m taking over the division especially in America #EnoughSaid”
