LAST NIGHT IN the second part of her interview with Lance Armstrong, Oprah Winfrey asked the disgraced cyclist if he’d apologise to David Walsh.
Here’s the moment:

Today, the Sunday Times journalist says he’d accept any apology from the Texan.
“Oprah pressured him,” the Irish writer said on his Twitter page, “the apology was, I thought, hesitantly promised. I didn’t ask for it, or expect it, but, yes, if it’s offered, I accept.”
Takes a big man to accept an apology after been sued in public fair play to him hope he gets an apology
Agreed! An apology and a large cheque, for all the people who’s lives he tried to destroy publicly. $125 million he has made from the sport by way of fraud #payback
It’s the least he could do.
Que Father Jack moment. I’m so so sorry!
Lance is an anagram of Clean. How sick. This guy doesn’t mean any of this. He’s a total snake and a thick one at that.
Walsh is an excellent journalist not afraid to ask hard questions. He was a voice of reason in those dark times. He could write for anyone does make a difference good hard journalism. Can’t read to wait his new book ’7 deadly sins’. Lance Armstrong is a sad joke now, tainted man, sad brand and brought shame on cycling. Never should be left on a bike again, unless it’s an exercise bike in a prison yard for fraud. He’s a cheat and a liar. I feel cheated, don’t even like saying his name.
That’s social media for you, accepting an apology before its even given!
@jason … Are you for real?
Oops, could write for anyone, doesn’t make a difference whomever he works for doesn’t change his good hard hitting journalism.
So enlighten me people why exactly does people the like Lance Armstrong and Tiger Woods owe the general public a televised or any other sort of apology?
Woods isnt a cheat. He was just naughty.
Armstrong? Role Model, public figure. Who cheated and used his cheating to defraud millions from companies based on his persona.
And a man who bullied and dragged people through the mud just because they spoke against him and in the end were right to do so
