Sure lookit, what can you do?

WE ALL HAVE bad days at the office, but they’re a hell of a lot easier to take when you’ve already got automatic promotion back to the Premier League stitched up and only need one more win to guarantee the Championship title.

That’s the situation that Brighton and Hove Albion goalkeeper David Stockdale found himself in last night as his TWO freak own goals handed Norwich City a 2-0 win.

There wasn’t much Stockdale could do when Alex Pritchard’s shot slammed off the crossbar and hit him on the back before bouncing into the unguarded net in the 18th minute.

And when Pritchard tried the trick again six minutes before the break, it remarkably played out in almost identical fashion, his shot hitting the post, and then Stockdale, before bouncing in.

At least Stockdale could afford a bit of a smile afterwards.
