DAVID MCMILLAN’S DOUBLE helped Dundalk make history tonight as they advanced to the Champions League playoff round.

With the League of Ireland champions trailing 1-0 from last week’s first leg, Stephen Kenny’s side know they must conjure a huge performance if they are to progress.

And they went into the break on level terms after McMillan headed home Daryl Horgan’s cross from the left.
