FORMER CRUISERWEIGHT KING David Haye has warned Tony Bellew to be careful what you wish for — and promised to smash Britain’s newest world champ to bits if they meet later this year.

Bellew claimed the vacant WBC cruiserweight title last night when he KOd Ilunga Makabu in front of an estimated 15,000 in Goodison Park.

The 33-year-old immediately called out Haye, who came out of retirement for a second time earlier this year but now fights at heavyweight.

Haye’s next bout is set to be against Shannon Briggs in September but after that, he said he would be happy to knock out Bellew.

“It looks like you really want to get knocked out by calling me a Bermondsey bitch and talking about knocking me out,” Haye said in a video posted to Instagram this afternoon.

“You must have lost your god damn mind.

“After I’ve knocked out Shannon Briggs, who has been giving it a lot of that himself, if you want to be on the list too, I’m knocking out all people talking too much.

“Get on the list mate, you are going to get smashed to bits.”
