DAVID FERRER COULD be in trouble after he pushed an Australian Open official out of the way — to make room for his towel.
The Spaniard crashed out of the season’s first Grand Slam this morning, losing in four sets to Tomas Berdych.

Ferrer is now under scrutiny for pushing a line judge aside so that he could set his towel down on the official’s chair between points and could face a fine of up to $20,000.

“It was nothing,” Ferrer said afterwards. “I have the towel there.
“It was nervous moment, but nothing. I said to him excuse me after that.”
Berdych went on to win 6-1 6-2 2-6 6-4 and will face either Novak Djokovic or Stanislas Wawrinka in the semi-finals.
