MOTHERWELL KEEPER DARREN Randolph is facing a two-match ban following his penalty-box clash with Callum Paterson.

Randolph was hit retrospectively with a notice of complaint by the SFA Compliance Officer investigating the incident with the Hearts striker.

The Republic of Ireland international now has until 3pm tomorrow to accept or contest a fixed suspension for his alleged violent conduct.

Replays show Randolph’s leg connecting with Paterson’s head as they challenged for a bouncing ball in the 13th minute of Saturday’s 0-0 draw. Any suspension will likely depend on whether the action is seen as malicious or as the goalkeeper protecting himself from injury.

Motherwell play Dundee United tonight.

What do you think — should Randolph accept the ban?
