VIDEO: Darren O'Neill donates his act of kindness to Special Olympics Ireland

The Irish boxer is the official ambassador for the organisation’s latest initiative.

IRISH OLYMPIC BOXER Darren O’Neill recently spent time with athletes from SOS Kilkenny in an event organised by Special Olympics Ireland.

O’Neill gave a talk to the athletes about his experiences at the Olympics this summer, and also played a game of bocce with them.

The event was part of a campaign of goodwill undertaken ahead of the Special Olympics.

People can donate their own acts of kindness by logging onto www.poweringkindness.ie, or by texting the word SPECIAL to 53106 with details.

O’Neill, along with former Irish rugby international, David Wallace, are the official ambassadors for the campaign.
