DESPITE INTEREST FROM RTÉ pundit – and eight time All-Ireland winner – Pat Spillane, the Kerry County Board have decided to give Darragh Ó Sé another year in charge of the U21 side.
Ó Sé, whose two year term expired with the defeat to Cork in the Munster Championship will announce his management team in August.
In May, Spillane said he’d “love” to manage the U21s, describing it as the one ambition he had left in life.
“I just feel that I have something to give and I would really love to get involved. I think there is potential but they need to be better managed, better coached.”
