CORK MIDFIELDER DANIEL Kearney has moved to end speculation suggesting he has walked away from the squad after last Sunday’s Munster SHC defeat to Tipperary.
The 26-year-old was replaced after just 32 minutes of the Rebels’ 0-22 to 0-13 reversal at Semple Stadium and has this evening taken to social media to clarify his position.
“Just to clarify, I have not left the Cork hurling panel, and the recent rumours that would say otherwise are totally false and have no basis,” he said on Twitter.
Kearney is expected to be in club action this weekend with Sarsfields as they face East Cork rivals Carrigtwohill in their Cork senior hurling championship opener.
