CONOR COUNIHAN’S CORK learned this afternoon that their meeting with Mayo is fixed for Sunday at 4pm at Croke Park.
But the Rebel County boss will plan without star forward Daniel Goulding this week.
Leeside officials today revealed that following a scan, the Eire Óg man will miss the All-Ireland SFC quarter-final against the Connacht champions.
A statement reads: “In the event that Cork progress in the championship, the injury will be monitored on a week-to-week basis. Meanwhile, Barry O’Driscoll is also out, having sustained a fractured jaw in yesterday’s victory.”
