Daniel Berger was forced to concede his WGC Matchplay game against Phil Mickelson after he jarred his wrist on the final hole.
With the match all square and his tee shot sitting perilously close to a brick wall, Berger tried to clip his ball away to safety.
Unfortunately the only thing he managed to clip was the wall, completely missing the ball and giving himself a nasty stinger.
Berger’s decision to concede the match cost him any chance of progressing to the knockout rounds in Austin, and leaves him facing a hugely unappealing dead-rubber against Matthew Fitzpatrick later today.
