Cork dual star Damien Cahalane has chosen hurling over football

“Damien is always welcome to return to football in the future,” Brian Cuthbert said this evening.

DAMIEN CAHALANE IS the latest Cork dual star to choose hurling over football.

The Castlehaven youngster has followed Aidan Walsh by committing to Jimmy Barry-Murphy’s squad for the 2015 season.

Cork’s third dual star this year, Eoin Cadogan, has confirmed that he will line out with Brian Cuthbert’s footballers.

“It’s a tough decision for any player to make,” Cuthbert said in a short statement this evening,  ”and while we are disappointed, Damien is always welcome to return to football in the future.”
