WITH APPOINTMENTS, DEPARTURES and retirements being confirmed on a daily basis, one man staying put is Dublin hurling boss Anthony Daly.
The Castleclare man has been in charge of hurling fortunes in the capital since 2008 and broke the news himself while speaking at an event for team sponsor Vodafone on Friday afternoon.
Dublin claimed their first National Hurling League Division 1 title earlier this year and went on to reach the All-Ireland Hurling Championship semi-final, only to lose a fantastic tussle with the then reigning champions Tipperary at Croke Park.

Daly’s news was later confirmed by the Dublin County Board and he will now put together his backroom team ahead of next year’s league and Championship campaign.

Dublin’s hurling squad were honoured with no less than ten GAA/GPA hurling nominations when the final list was confirmed earlier this week.
