BELOW ARE SOME images of the fog that engulfed Wrigley Field during last night’s game between the Cincinnati Reds and the Chicago Cubs.
The Reds won 6-2 but it is unclear how they were able to finish the game as some players could not even see the ball as it was hit.
In this GIF you can see a base hit up the middle and the center fielder doesn’t even move until the ball is already in the outfield…
And these images show how the conditions got worse by the minute. The second image was taken just three minutes after the first image…
And this image is from about 20 minutes after the two above. Seemed like a dangerous situation at best…
