Due to a series of injuries, Cruz has seen just 61 seconds of action in the last four-and-a-half years — a demolition of Takeya Mizugaki at UFC 178 in September 2014.
It’s been a frustrating time for one of the sport’s best pound-for-pound fighters, but at least he’s been able to see the funny side of it.
Cruz poked fun at himself at today’s open workouts, turning up on crutches before entering the octagon with a forward roll.
