CROSSMAGLEN RANGERS MARCHED in the semi-finals of the Armagh senior football championship tonight in extraordinary circumstances.

Crossmaglen Rangers defeated Dromintee at the Athletic Grounds but their opponents were short key players due to a wedding and three of those that did line out were wearing jeans.

It finished 1-8 to 0-0 in favour of Crossmaglen Rangers in a bizarre game.

2002 Armagh All-Ireland winners Tony McEntee and Aidan O’Rourke summed up the unsatisfactory nature of the game.
