Cristiano Ronaldo denies reports of link-up with US rapper Lil Wayne

Previous rumours had indicated that a deal between the two stars was set to happen.

CRISTIANO RONALDO HAS dismissed reports that he is set to link up with popular US rapper Lil Wayne.

It was strongly rumoured that Ronaldo would become the first signing of the music star’s new sports management company.

A source told TMZ that the rapper was eager for the move to happen, saying:

“Weezy [Lil Wayne] has been wanting to get into the sports management game for a while and has had his sights set on the Team Portugal stud… not just because he’s a huge sports star, but because they’re friends.”

With football enjoying a considerable rise in popularity in the States, the move would have been a significant coup for Lil Wayne’s company, but Ronaldo took to Twitter to reject reports that confirmation of a deal was imminent.
