Cristiano Ronaldo's buy-out clause is how much??

PSG and Man United are sniffing about but Guillem Ballague seems confident that Ronaldo will stay with Madrid.

CRISTIANO RONALDO’S CONTRACT buy-out clause is set at “an eye-watering €1 billion,” according to football journalist Guillem Balague.

Despite two late goals, Ronaldo and Real Madrid crashed out of the Champions League last night in a 4-3 aggregate defeat against Borussia Dortmund.

The Portuguese superstar is contracted to Madrid for two more seasons but prompted renewed speculation about his future when he failed to agree an extension beyond the summer of 2015.

Despite not putting pen to paper — yet — Balague insisted again that Ronaldo will be at the Bernabeu next season.

And he revealed that amid serious interest from Paris Saint-Germain and former club Manchester United, Madrid have set his buy-out clause at a whopping ten-figure sum.

Balague wrote on social networking site Sulia:

PSG had made a definite €150m for the player plus personal terms that would have made him, by a distance, the highest paid player in the world.

At Old Trafford, Manchester United were never going to be able to match PSG financially but they were looking at a number of commercial options that could have raised the transfer money and the player’s wages to entice him back to the ‘theatre of dreams’.  Not now, at least not for the time being.

Ronaldo’s buy out clause is an eye-watering €1 billion.  Let me spell out that so you can get some idea.  That is €1000,000,000.  That’s what Madrid say they want, if someone wants to buy him and no one’s going to pay that.
