Aidan Walsh amongst three championship debuts in Cork side to face Waterford

The Rebels get their summer underway in Thurles on Sunday afternoon.

JIMMY BARRY-MURPHY has handed championship debuts to three of his panel ahead of the Munster SHC clash with Waterford this weekend.

Dual star Aidan Walsh will line out in midfield alongside Daniel Kearney of Sarsfields. The Kanturk man has an All-Ireland football medal from the 2010 campaign.

Mark Ellis of Millstreet is handed the No 6 jersey while Alan Cadogan – brother of Eoin — starts at 13.

St Finbarr’s man Damien Cahalane — who previously played championship against Wexford in a 2012 qualifier — makes his Munster bow.

Significantly, Paudie O’Sullivan is named on the bench after a year-long absence through injury.
