Conor Counihan names unchanged Cork team to face Kerry

The Rebels travel to Killarney for the Munster decider this Sunday.

CONOR COUNIHAN IS keeping his cards close to his chest ahead of Sunday’s Munster SFC final with arch-rivals Kerry.

The Cork boss has named an unchanged side from the XV which took the field against Clare last time out.

If the Rebels are to beat Kerry in Killarney for the first time since 1995, they’ll do so with the likes of Aidan Walsh, Noel O’Leary and Donncha O’Connor starting on the bench.

Kerry named their side for the game yesterday, making four changes.

Cork XV: Ken O’Halloran (Bishopstown); Eoin Cadogan (Douglas), Michael Shields (St Finbarr’s), Damien Cahalan (Castlehaven); James Loughrey (Mallow), Paudie Kissane (Clyda Rovers), Tomás Clancy; Graham Canty (Bantry Blues), Pearse O’Neill (Aghada); Fintan Goold (Macroom), Paddy Kelly (Ballincollig), John O’Rourke (Carbery Rangers); Daniel Goulding (Eire Óg), Brian Hurley (Castlehaven), Paul Kerrigan (Nemo Rangers).

Subs: Alan Quirke (Valley Rovers), John McLoughlin (Kanturk), Thomas Clancy (Clonakilty), Noel O’Leary (Cill na Martra), Alan O’Connor (St Colum’s), Aidan Walsh (Kanturk), Andrew O’Sullivan (Castletownbere), Ciarán Sheehan (Eire Óg), Mark Collins (Castlehaven), Donncha O’Connor (Ballydesmond), Barry O’Driscoll (Nemo Rangers).
