Big call: Cian McCarthy will start for the Rebels. INPHO/Lorraine O'Sullivan

Cian McCarthy gets the nod from JBM in only change for Cork

Jamie Coughlan makes way for the Sarsfields man.

CORK HAVE NAMED their starting XV for the All-Ireland SHC final replay with Clare on Saturday (throw-in 5pm).

Jimmy Barry-Murphy makes just one change with Cian McCarthy of Sars coming for Jamie Coughlan at 11 in an attempt to add some physicality to the Rebels’ attack.

Newtown man Coughlan was held scoreless last time out and was subbed at half-time.

Sarsfields star, McCarthy — the son of multiple All-Ireland winner, Teddy — replaced Lorcan McLoughlin in the drawn game but was forced off after 10 minutes with a foot injury. He performed well against the Banner in their Munster championship meeting earlier in the summer but lost his place in the starting side after the provincial final defeat to Limerick.

Elsewhere, Seamus Harnedy starts despite speculation in recent days that he was fighting to be fit.

Cork XV (v Clare, All-Ireland SHC final replay): A Nash; S McDonnell, S O’Neill, C O’Sullivan; B Murphy, C Joyce, W Egan; L McLoughlin, D Kearney; S Harnedy, C McCarthy, P Cronin; L O’Farrell, P Horgan, C Lehane.
