In a repeat of last year’s quarter-final, which saw 2015 finalists Castlehaven triumph by 1-14 to 1-11 against the 2014 champions, Ballincollig went in four points ahead at half-time before running away with the tie in the second half.

They will meet reigning champions Nemo Rangers in the last-four and the result completes this year’s semi-final line-up with Avondhu also taking on Carbery Rangers.

Both fixtures have been pencilled in for Sunday, 2 October in a double-header in Páirc Uí Rinn:

  • Nemo Rangers v Ballincollig
  • Carbery Rangers v Avondhu
