Cork finalise hurling squad for 2025 season

Pat Ryan names 37-player panel.

THE CORK SENIOR hurling panel for the 2025 season has been confirmed.

The Rebels finalised a 37-player squad this evening, Pat Ryan’s side having opened their Division 1A league campaign with a win over Wexford and draw with Limerick.

Ben Cunningham is ruled out through injury. The St Finbarr’s star seriously damaged his hamstring in Fitzgibbon Cup action last week.

Conor Lehane and Padraig Power are both named, despite suffering shoulder injuries in Saturday’s 1-16 apiece draw against Limerick at Páirc Uí Chaoimh.

Daniel Hogan has been called up after his impressive club form for Sarsfields as they reached the All-Ireland senior final, while 2023 All-Ireland U20 winners Darragh O’Sullivan, Micheal Mullins and Diarmuid Healy are among other emerging players included.

Jack Cahalane, meanwhile, is included on the hurling panel having represented the Cork senior footballers last year.

Cork return to league action later this month, with a trip to Tipperary on Saturday, 22 February next on the cards for the 2024 All-Ireland finalists.
