DAN MURRAY’S LATE equaliser means that Cork City and Bohemians will have to do it all again next Monday to secure their place in the next round of the FAI Ford Cup.
Dinny Corcoran opened the scoring after a half an hour; powering an effort low past Mark McNulty’s near post after Kevin Devaney’s flick-on.

Billy Dennehy equalised, coverting the rebound from his own penalty, but it looked like the visitors had come away with a momentous victory six minutes from time as Corcoran grabbed his second from close range, despite McNulty’s best efforts.
In the end Murray was the hero; Colin Healy’s cross was kept alive by Darren Dennehy, and Murray was there to finish from 10 yards out, sending the home support into raptures.
Both sides had chances to win the game; Corcoran himself hitting the post while Josh O’Shea did the same at the other end but now they will have to play again at Dalymount Park to sustain their cup runs.
Elsewhere, Derry City proved far too strong for Malahide United but had to wait until nearly ten minutes into the second half to make the breakthrough at The Brandywell.
However, once Pat McEleney opened the scoring in the 53rd minute, the hosts never looked back and a goal from Michael Duffy just 60 seconds later sealed the tie as a contest.
Philip Lowry added a third for the hosts seventeen minutes from time.
