CONOR MCGREGOR MIGHT be taking a break from the Octagon but his profile is still at an all-time high.

Last night, he got the full Saturday Night Live treatment on the iconic US TV show.

With WWE wrestler John Cena on board as the episode’s guest host, McGregor was played by SNL’s Alex Moffat in a skit called “Where’d Your Money Go?”

The segment featured Kenan Thompson as former NBA superstar Charles Barkley, hosting the spoof gameshow, Cena as New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, and comedian Bobby Moynihan as two-time Major winning golfer John Daly.

Moffat got the McGregor look pretty spot on, wearing a fur coat that mirrored the outfit boasted by the Dubliner at the UFC 205 press conference last month.

He didn’t quite manage the Crumlin accent though, with his McGregor coming across a bit too much like the “top of the morning begosh and begorrah” Irish stereotype.

It seemed to go down well with the US audience though:

– An earlier version of this article identified the actor playing Charles Barkley as Keenan Mitchell; his name is Kenan Thompson.
