Cub Swanson calls McGregor 'an arrogant prick', horrible role model in latest Twitter beef

Just put the two of them in the Octagon and let’s get this sorted.

LET’S CUT TO the chase here. Conor McGregor and Cub Swanson don’t really like each other — which is no surprise considering McGregor has called his featherweight rival an old man and compared him to Simpsons character Hans Moleman.

Their Twitter followers were treated to round 372 of the ongoing feud last night. It all started when former UFC star Kenny Florian predicted that a stadium title fight between McGregor and champion Jose Aldo would be the promotion’s biggest event in 2015.

Swanson disagreed, naturally, and that’s when things took a turn for the worse.

“Don’t get bitter Cub. Get better,” McGregor tweeted. “Conor Bless.”

Swanson replied: “Lets be real! You’re an arrogant prick and a horrible roll [sic] model.”

McGregor, who is clearly getting accustomed to his status as one of the promotion’s biggest names, drew a line under the argument.

“Be careful now,” he warned Swanson. “I might just fire your old ass.”

Expect to see Round 373 very shortly …

It really is people from outside the club who are concerned about his dry spell. 17 goals 7 assists & well in the hunt for the golden boot again

@Battaz: tbf its not news but for salah to come out of his dry spell( if ya can call it that) would be a massive boost for lfc. While their in a great posistion city still there and augero scoring. Messi/ronaldo scoring for europes big teams.

Salah is selfish. Always angry and moody when he doesn’t score yet the team are winning.

@Fred McHugh: can only agree with you Frederick. That accidental assist for Mane with the outside of his right foot v Munich was absolute and utter greed. Sell him to West Ham and be off with him
