UFC boss says Croke Park is one of two options for McGregor's potential title shot

You might be facing a short taxi ride or a transatlantic flight to make it to the bout.

UFC CZAR DANA White said a few weeks ago that if Conor McGregor beats Dennis Siver on 18 January, he will be in line for a title shot against Jose Aldo.

What was even more interesting from an Irish perspective is that he said the fight would likely be held in one of Ireland’s major stadiums.

White has offered further clarification in a Twitter Q&A with fans tonight.

The problem with having an outdoor fight in Ireland is obviously the weather, since even a seemingly picturesque July evening can be rudely interrupted by torrential rain and howling winds.

Also, would McGregor fill Croke Park? That would really be a test of his pulling power.
