'Tomorrow I take his head clean off!' - McGregor is seriously pumped

The home town fighter squared up to Diego Brandao at the O2 this afternoon.

CONOR MCGREGOR LOOKED extremely motivated during the UFC Fight Night Dublin weigh-ins at the O2 this afternoon, promising to take Diego Brandoa’s head off tomorrow night.

‘The Notorious’ clocked in at 146 pounds on the scales, after the Brazilian was tagged at 145.5. Immediately after the weigh-ins, the two fighters squared up, with UFC President Dana White stepping in between the pair.

Brando told a “hostile crowd” that he’s going to “destroy” McGregor in tomorrow night’s fight at the O2.

McGregor responded in kind, grabbing the microphone and stating: “Tomorrow I take his head clean off! Every featherweight’s head I’m coming for. Tomorrow I take his head clean off!”

In the earlier weigh-ins, Irishmen Patrick Holohan, Cathal Pendred and Neil Seery got rousing receptions, while Northern Ireland’s Norman Parke also had strong support.

Things have unsurprisingly stepped up a notch after this afternoon’s prelude. Tomorrow night can’t come quick enough.
