Connacht's Pro12 clash with Zebre called off due to thunderstorms in Italy

THIS EVENING’S PRO12 meeting between Zebre and Connacht has been called off because of a thunderstorm in Parma.

The match was postponed at half-time with the Italians leading by 22-10 following biblical weather just before the break.

Both teams were kept in the dressing-rooms for over half an hour as officials made a decision on whether to continue.

Tiernan O’Halloran scored a Connacht try but it had been a poor performance from the title-holders before the game was called to a halt.
