Poll: Mayo are chasing four-in-a-row but who do you think will win this year's Connacht SFC?

Will Mayo continue their domination of the province?

1980 WAS THE last time a Connacht side won four consecutive provincial titles – will Mayo be the next to do it?

That year it was Roscommon, defeating Mayo to win the Nestor Cup for the fourth year in a row. This year they go in search of their first title in four years, and only their fifth in total since 1980.

Leitrim are in search of their first title since the heroics of 94′, and preparations haven’t gone too badly, considering they won their second consecutive FBD league earlier this year – only their second piece of silverware in twenty years.

David Kelly is back this year as Sligo go in search of their first title since 2007. They’re straight in to the semi-final this year playing the winner of London and Galway.

New York are already out, but London will be looking to build on last year with the likes of Adrian Flaherty of Galway joining their ranks.

Galway will be hoping to have gained confidence from the second half of their league campaign, as they amazingly go in search of their first title in six years. The last time the Tribesman waited as long was in 1995, when after eight barren years they regained the title they have won 44 times. One less then Mayo of course.

Mayo are the odds-on favourites but who do you think will win this year’s Connacht championship?
