The thought of giving Father Jack a bath after the All Priests 5-a-side! It's the Comments of the Week

Did you make the cut?

TWO AMERICAN MEN set a record early this year by being the first to free-climbs the 3,000-foot vertical wall on El Capitan, Yosemite National Park, which has long been considered one of the most difficult rocks to climb.

It took Kevin Jorgeson and Tommy Caldwell nineteen days to achieve one of climbingโ€™s most difficult challenges. Although the photos would terrify most of us, Conor Ryan wasnโ€™t as impressed with the feat and wondered how the climbers would fair on one of Ireland mostโ€ฆdifficult climbs.

โ€œYeah but have they tried to climb Croke Patrick on a blustery day.โ€

It was announced on Tuesday that Yohan Blake, the second fastest man on the planet, would be competing in the AON Menโ€™s International 100m race on Friday evening in Santry. Dave Meagher reacted to the news with an exceptional piece of Father Ted referencing.

โ€œSecond best priestโ€ฆโ€

In honour of Conor McGregorโ€™s interim featherweight title victory over Chad Mendes two weeks ago, we looked at his devastating left hand and 14 more of the scariest things in sport. John and Luke McGahren weighed in with two fantastic comments.

After the42โ€ฒs own Murray Kinsella analyzed how Brodie Retallick is a man continuing to improve and frighten the rest of the rugby world, Martello Mulligan offered his own unique assessment of Retallickโ€™s abilities.

โ€œScary. This guy thinks so far ahead he tears off the toilet roll before he shits.โ€

Elveryโ€™s Die Hard spoof featuring Simon Zebo provided plenty of laughs during the week. It had a little bit of everything. Even, as Anthony Campion cleverly spotted, a cameo from Wexford politician Mick Wallace.

โ€œFair play to mick Wallace heโ€™s in everything.โ€

He was not the disaster he was perceived to be in the EPL he was playing a very different position to what he was used to at united and in fairness to the guy he had very few bad games just not enough great games, less said about his time at Stamford bridge the better but a great player who showed he still has class at the world cup in south Africa
